Replacing The Upstop Felts

Replacement upstop felts are available from Trek. They're cheap and worth every penny. See:

To replace the upstop felts:

1. Protect the organ case with some cardboard and raise the manual (see HowToRaiseTheManuals).
2. Remove the six screws which hold the FrontStrip to the manual, then remove the FrontStrip. It is held on with some double-sided tape, so you will have to gently pry it off. (All the keys will pop up --- whee.)
3. Pull the old upstop felt off of the front strip.
4. Use some adhesive remover and a plastic scraper to clean off the remains of the old glue and felt.
5. Stick on the new felt.
6. Reinstall the front strip.
