The Hammond ToneCabinets differ from Leslies in that they (or at least most of them) have no rotating speaker baffles. The are also much more "mellow" sounding, with quite muted treble response compared to Leslies. (I believe they were designed to try to hide the Hammond's signature KeyClick, which, of course, now most players consider to be an asset.)
