Preventative Maintenance, as would be inferred, involves doing certain things to your organ to prevent it from becoming problematic in the future.
There are many ways one can do this.
Capacitor replacement is often recommended since bad capacitors can easily damage the rest of your internals.
Re-soldering ground wires can prevent faulty connections in the future. Remember, even the tiniest bit of resistance will work its way up to a big problem.
Even oiling is a form of preventative maintenance.
