A Main-Ensemble-Echo switch is a type of HalfMoonSwitch. Usually part of a LeslieHookupKit, it allows one to play an organ through either of two different ToneCabinets, or both ToneCabinets at the same time.
When the switch is the the Main position, the organ is played through the "main" ToneCabinet (usually the HammondToneCabinet, or built-in speakers, if the organ has them). If the switch is in the Echo position, the organ plays through the alternate ToneCabinet, usually the Leslie. In the middle, Ensemble, position, the organ plays through both ToneCabinets.
Original Style Main-Ensemble-Echo switches and housings are available from Halfmoon Electronics
